Job Title: CAD Mechanical Design Draughtsperson
Location: Washington
Salary: Dependant on Experience
TM Resourcing are working with a company based in Washington that are the market leading manufacturers of specialist weaving / textile machinery and ancillary equipment.
They operate in many fields such as carbon fibre, nonwoven, flat and pile textiles and are part of the UKs most successful carpet weaving group.
Due to ongoing planned expansion they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Draughtsman to join the design team to be initially engaged in special projects.
Benefits of this position include a staff bonus scheme, flexible working patterns and available overtime.
Responsibilities and Duties
To complete the design of high speed machinery from 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
To complete detail drawing and BOM.
Liaise with suppliers and in-house machine shop.
Potential to lead project management.
To work with assembly staff to develop the machinery thro to commissioning.
Qualifications and Skills
A recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
HNC certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experienced in CAD software.
