Workshop Engineer
Bradley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD2 1GQ
A general workshop engineer is required to work at our clients Huddersfield headquarters.
Essential skills must include soldering, electrical fault finding and basic enclosure fabrication. The position involves the use of hand tools and test equipment in the assembly and repair of electrical equipment for the on course horse racing industry.
Day to day duties will include bespoke cable assembly, battery pack assembly and repair, ticket printer repair and product development.
Formal qualifications are not necessary but candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
Initial trainings will be given but the successful candidate will eventually be required to work unsupervised, keep accurate work records and regularly liaise with clients giving progress reports.
The position is full-time Monday to Friday 9.00AM to 5.00PM.
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
