Salary: GBP17,550 - GBP18,720 per annum + bonus
Monday to Friday, 08:30-18:00
Summary
Are you looking for a job with variety that will use your practical skills for keeping things clean and in good order? If the answer is yes and you have a driving licence then this could be the job for you.
Based at our friendly Scania branch in Bridgwater you will be responsible for cleaning the depot including the workshop, parts department, yard parking areas, environmental station and gardening. You will assist with the collection and delivery of customers vehicles, road testing and general driving duties as required. Youll carry out general maintenance and repairs within the depot and departments as well as support with health & safety and dealer operating standard.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
-General housekeeping/ cleaning duties within the workshop, depot and yard areas
-General maintenance and up-keep of company equipment
-General property repairs and maintenance as required
-Up-keep and tidiness of yard and parking areas
-Collection and delivery of customer vehicles for servicing
-Yard shunting
-Cleaning company and customer vehicles
-Carry out company car checks
-Promote the company's products and services
-SHE support
-Dealer operating standard (DOS) support
Candidate Requirements
Education and/or Experience
-Ideally have experience in a commercial workshop
-Experience in a similar position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Clean driving license
-Good customer service skills
-Good communication skills
-Excellent time keeping
-Ability to build good relationships, internally and externally
-Positive attitude
-Flexible approach
-Attention to detail
Desirable
-Category C+E License
-Driver CPC (desirable)
-PCV license (desirable)
