Job Role:

To deliver high quality financial reporting across a range of client types, including Companies, trusts and partnerships. To provide assistance within the team with projects and ongoing tasks.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Completing and posting VAT and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing VAT returns and statutory financial statements from source documentation.
• Interim accounting assignments - to prepare management accounts as above and other ad-hoc accounting reports as required.
• System development - to appropriately report deficiencies; to contribute to strategies to resolve deficiencies identified.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.
• Other responsibilities - to assist in other technical and administrative areas within the Company as may reasonably be requested.

Experience/ Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a fiduciary environment and holds or is working towards a relevant accounting qualification. (Essential)
• Experience of FRS 102 and Trust accounting (Desirable)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Microsoft NAV (Desirable)
