Becoming a Learning & Development Consultant with Electronic Monitoring Services:

Capita's Electronic Monitoring Service is currently looking for a Learning & Development Consultant (home based), with nationwide travel. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager you will support with the delivery of an L&D strategy that will support organisational success and people development. Lead on the delivery and continuous improvement of L&D projects, primarily focusing on the development of leadership and management capabilities, talent, succession management and apprenticeship scheme.

What you will do:

  • Consult with stakeholders to assess learning and development needs, which represent the changing nature of the business.

  • The creative design, delivery and evaluation of innovative learning and organisational development interventions; with the aim of improving leadership and management capabilities, identifying and developing talent and succession planning.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of EMS's Apprenticeship programme.

  • Maintain L&D training records to contribute to quality assurance measures.

  • Contribute to the L&D continuous improvement strategy, using robust evaluation at all levels.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders across Field and Monitoring Operations.

  • Provide line management and support to a team of Learning & Development Facilitators in order that they achieve their job purpose and objectives; ensuring quality assurance of L&D delivery, and providing opportunities for their development.

  • Ensure all team members (within span of control) work in line with Capita Values, procedures and policies and comply with online mandatory training and other specified compliances.

  • Take ownership for own continued personal and professional development.

  • Undertake other reasonable duties/projects as identified through business needs.

Your experience will include:

  • Minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training

  • Certificate in Leadership and Management

  • Minimum 5 years experience in design, delivery and evaluation of L&OD projects

  • People management experience

  • Leadership & Management design and delivery

  • Consultancy skills

  • Stakeholder management

  • Coaching
