We are constantly looking for ways in which we can improve the level of service we offer to our customers and so we are looking for two enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated people to join our team within Progress Housing Group on a permanent, part time basis based at our call centre in Leyland.
We are looking for someone who has ideally worked within a housing environment. Having call handling experience dealing with a variety of enquiries is essential.
Duties include:
- Dealing with a wide range of enquiries from customers at first point of contact with the aim of first point resolution
- Receive, prioritise and register repair requests and to schedule appointments with customers at first point of enquiry
- Deal with digital enquiries including facebook, webchat and email and provide a face to face service and ad-hoc reception service when required
Skills & qualities
You will be/have:
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work within a challenging and changing environment and be used to taking a high volume of calls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional approach to dealing with customers and a positive attitude towards change
- Have excellent IT, administrative, organisational skills
Additional information
The hours of work will be between 18 hours per week and will typically be:
Mondays: 9am – 3pm
Tuesday to Friday: 3 hours per day between 12 – 3pm
Successful candidates would be required to work full time hours (36.25 hours per week) for the first 4 weeks for training purposes.
