The Redhill Academy Trust, founded in 2010, is a locally based, growing MAT in the East Midlands, currently consisting of eight secondary and three primary academies.  The Finance Shared Service function was established in June 2017 and provides central finance support to all of the academies within the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join the finance team at their offices in Calverton. The successful individual will be instrumental in ensuring that all areas of the Trust achieves value for money, as well as delivering an outstanding finance support operation to all academies.

The successful candidate will work as part of the finance leadership team and be responsible for leading the finance team’s daily, monthly and annual transactional finance activity across all academies. In addition there will be opportunities to support strategic project activity and learn new skills.

The successful candidate will preferably hold a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Exceptional part-qualified candidates will also be considered who can demonstrate competence in a similar role. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, enjoy being part of a team, and have enthusiasm for change.
