Your next role
Reporting to our HR Manager, you’ll provide a seamless recruitment service and process for our hiring managers and to also ensure our candidates have an excellent application experience. You’ll be responsible for managing all applications, adverts, proactive sourcing on various social media and other channels, screening, interviewing and offer management whilst keeping all parties informed of progress.
You’ll also be working in partnership with our hiring managers to ensure each role has been evaluated in terms of benchmarks, including desirable background, education and qualifications. Due to the nature of the roles being within a niche market, you’ll also be working in partnership with our preferred recruitment agencies, so it’s imperative that you’ll be accustomed to building relationships quickly whilst also managing any issues, service level agreements and unsolicited approaches.
The role will also incorporate HR support for the HR Manager, including eligibility to work checks, new starter documentation, assistance with meetings of concern, minute taking with employee relation issues and other HR related administration
About you
You’ll ideally be in a Recruitment or HR related role within an accountancy practice or professional services firm, although we will consider high calibre candidates from a relevant agency background specialising in accountancy practice. Additionally, you’ll have/will be
- Previous Recruitment/HR experience of the full recruitment cycle as stated
- Ideally hold a relevant qualification, MIRP, CIPD level 3 or equivalent qualification/experience
- Previous experience in managing an applicant tracking system, although training will be given
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to unexpected changes whilst still ensuring objectives are met
- Outstanding communication skills, both aural and written
Excellent IT skills, including Excel and experience of using databases - Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- The ability to prioritise effectively and manage a heavy workload
