Motivated and driven Junior Product Manager with the ability to analyse and present large amounts of product data to work alongside the product development team of an innovative manufacturer of automotive aftermarket components. This job would suit a graduate with 1 to 2 years' experience in a commercial environment
Our client is one of the most efficient automotive component manufacturing and development centre's in Europe. They supply a huge range of quality replacement products, primarily for the Aftermarket. Offering close to 12,000 different parts from their state-of-the-art facilities, they boast the design, development and manufacture of several new parts each week and have invested heavily in their future stability.
Ideally located - Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Cheshire, Crewe, Uttoxeter
Salary Competitive
The Challenge
To apply for this role, you will have strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills coupled with first class communication and relationship building ability. A candidate with previous experience within the Automotive Aftermarket is desirable, as is the ability to use MAM or TecDoc software.
Our ideal candidate will have strong organisational and cataloguing skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines and be a self-starter.
The Candidate
* Catalogue database management skills, including:
* Internal vehicle and product database
* Online Webcat
* TecDoc, MAM Autocat and other industry standard catalogues
* Competitor cross referencing and gap analysis
* Analysis of car parc & vehicle registration statistics
* Initiating new product development
* Production of new product bulletins
* Close liaison with R&D, commercial and sales teams, together with external customers.
