We currently have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team based in Brighton; to cover two additional major works until January 2019.
Within this role, you will supervise and manage on a day to day basis the operation of a housing improvement works programme. Leading a team of operatives and subcontractors, you will be responsible for the timely completion of major repair and improvement works to a high standard of quality and customer service.
With extensive knowledge of external wall insulation and external refurbishment, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing major works; including concrete repairs, external wall insulation and major roof and/or window replacements.
Social Housing experience is also essential and you will be familiar with supervising operatives and subcontractors coupled with an up-to-date Health & Safety qualification and experience.
Although not essential, experience of working in partnership with a Local Authority Client, with management experience in a similar operation would be desirable. A CIOB Site Manager Course along with an IOSH Managing Safety in Construction would be an advantage, as would knowledge of a variety of contracts including JCT minor works.
Candidates for this role must hold a full valid UK driving licence
