An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join The Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Team to assist in delivering the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services refurbishment and new installation projects ensuring that all works are compliant with the relevant statutory and regulatory health and safety requirements.

You will oversee the delivery of the M&E Financial and Project Programme from conception to final account, including administering procurement papers and tenders, engrossment contracts, work specifications and performance reports. You will be responsible for the full management of the supply chain from appointing the project team to coordinating onsite contractors, officers, residents and affected parties. A large part of your role will be to monitor the performance of the team and compliance of the works being carried out against relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will have at least five years’ experience working in M&E Engineering and have expert knowledge of mechanical installations including heating and hot water works.
 
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT programmes such as Microsoft Office and excellent organisational skills as you will be required to coordinate weekly performance meetings.
