GRILL CHEF: NOTTINGHAM, UK
About the Job
Do you want to be responsible for preparing and delivering great quality food using fresh ingredients for Games Workshop staff and customers?
Are you excited by working in an ever changing, fast paced kitchen where no two days will be the same? Do you want to work in a kitchen environment that is always looking to improve the quality of the food and services it offers?
Working as part of a team, you will be cooking a variety of grilled food for staff and customers visiting our world famous Bugmans bar! Based in Lenton, Nottingham, we offer an extensive burger and pizza theme menu, to both our internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is prepared and ready for the busiest days. In doing this you will need to always maintain a clean, tidy and efficient work area.
We know what makes this job hard is the physical demand of working at pace in a busy kitchen and the need to be organised and enthusiastic at all times.
We are looking for a chef that gets a buzz out of being busy while continuing to serve good quality food to the agreed time, demonstrating a positive attitude all day every day.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a busy kitchen
- Good organisational skills
- Good hygiene practices
- Be self-motivated
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment while staying positive
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work.
Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.
