General purpose of position:
The position is to paint and powder coat parts and ensure that the parts are in accordance with our clients quality standards.
Responsibilities/duties:
Ensuring targets are achieved on a daily basis.
Working as part of a team and implementing improvements.
Ensuring high levels of health & safety and housekeeping are met.
Being flexible and being able to respond to changing demands for customer priorities.
Education/qualifications/skills/competencies: Some technical/previous experience in powder coating, EP would be an advantage.
Must have the ability to follow a standard operation for processes.
Personality/character:
Ability to work well under pressure.
Good problemsolving skills.
Selfmotivated.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Excellent flexibility including supporting with overtime even at short notice.
Environment/working conditions:
Those normally associated with working in a heavy manufacturing environment such as lifting, bending, twisting.
The successful candidate must be fit and healthy with no restrictions.
Additional terms & conditions:
Initially Day shift with possibility of shift work later.
Hours of work still to be finalised.
Must be flexible.
