Central Employment are currently looking for a number of Production/Quality Staff to work for one of our major client based in Birtley.
Operatives are required to work in a number of areas within the packaging factory, from line feeding to palletising/packing, Quality Control and Dispatch. You will be operating a Machine in the manufacture of plastic containers with Quality Checks completed at the end of the process. Company Hygiene and H&S procedures must be adhered to at all times.
Shift Pattern
The company has a 3 shift system in place. However, our client is relaxed about shift rotation and it will not be necessary if you preferred a shift (I.e - you can remain on 6-2, 2-10 or 10-6) you can choose your shift.
These positions are long term for the right candidates. The rate of pay is GBP7.83 per hour fixed rate for early, late and night shifts. The shift patterns are rota based dependent on which shift you are assigned to, but flexibility is important as shifts may change to meet production demands.
