As a Concierge Service Adviser, you will provide a more personal service to our customers by coordinating with suppliers to source inventory in order to finalise more complex holiday bookings. This will involve maximising sales opportunities by upselling/cross selling, booking flight upgrades, extended stays and obtaining additional inventory whilst keeping the customer up to date at all times. You will provide excellent customer service whilst taking inbound calls from customers, and via outbound calls when completing customers’ holiday of a lifetime.

What you need

  • GCSE level or equivalent including Maths & English
  • Extensive experience dealing with customers over the phone and face to face
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • A good understanding of how tours are created
  • Previous experience of securing additional room availability
  • Good knowledge of airline routes
  • Ability to manage a high workload, prioritising tasks and delivering to timescales as required
  • Experience within a target driven environment
  • Good PC skills with experience in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong Influencing/persuasive skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent proficiency in the use of GDS (preferably Amadeus)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

This is a full time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week on different shift patterns during the opening hours of the department.
