Salary: £23,586 - £29,628 Dependant on experience

The Audit Office are looking for a talented Communications Officer to join their award winning team on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Do you have a flair for engaging people with excellent content, using the right channels for the right audiences?

If you have demonstrable experience co-ordinating events and producing video content then they'd love to hear from you.

If you're a talented all-rounder, with an interest in working in a busy and rewarding environment, then this could be the job for you.

The Communications Officer will be accountable to the Head of Communications for creating engaging content, such as blog posts, press releases, web copy, microsites and newsletters, tailoring language effectively, according to the target audience and channel.

You will also assist the Digital Communications Officer in publishing and managing content on the Audit office's corporate website and Intranet.

The nature of the work in this role will typically require a rich skill mix, to advise and assist with complex enquiries from the general public, journalists and other stakeholders. The post holder will also support the promotion of our work through a variety of events and through PR, digital media and marketing activities.
