Design & Technology Technician

We wish to appoint, from September 2018, a part-time technician for our Design & Technology Department from 9.00 am – 1.00 pm three mornings (to be agreed) per week during term time only plus inset days. 

The successful DT Technician will report to the Head of Design & Technology and responsibilities will include; the general preparation of materials within the department; assisting with the demonstration of lessons; organising, maintaining and monitoring all technology tools, machines and equipment; ordering of resources and stock.

The successful candidate will have a creative mind and approach, have good communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated with a keen eye for detail, have experience of health and safety procedures and a good understanding of safeguarding.

Salary according to qualifications and experience on Farnborough Hill’s own pay scale.
