Inscape House School is a specialist school for children with autistic spectrum disorders and related conditions, based on our Campus in Cheadle. Ofsted rated Good this school supports students aged 5 – 19 providing dedicated support, teaching and therapy to ensure students to recognise to recognise their potential, maximise independence and celebrate achievements.

We are now looking to appoint a number of Educational Assistants to support the learning and care of pupils across the school. Under the supervision and guidance of teachers and therapists you will assist in the delivery of the curriculum and in the care of the pupils, you will also participate in other activities within the School including the supervision of play and lunchtimes.

Details of role:

  • Term time only (initially bank to perm)
  • Monday to Friday (34.5 hours per week)
  • Salary £12.415
  • 5.6 weeks holiday *to be taken out of term time

In order to be successful in this role, candidates will ideally have previous experience of working with children particularly ASC or challenging behaviour. As a specialist Educational Assistant, you will have skills/interest in one or more of the following curriculum areas; following curriculum areas; Science, PE, Music, Food Technology, Enrichment Curriculum & Family Activities, Girls Group.
