Accounts Assistant – Sensor Manufacturing Business

Level Developments is a world leader in the design and manufacture of mechanical and electronic angle measuring sensors. As a successful and expanding Company we are looking for a full time Accounts Assistant to join a busy and effective team.
 
This is an opportunity to develop and progress in business accounting.  You will need to have experience in accounts, a strong work ethic, be motivated, be able to demonstrate an eye for detail and willing to acquire new skills and challenge yourself. Maybe this will suit you if you; have been working in accounts previously and would like a change or to progress, have acquired a qualification in business finance or accounting and wish to pursue a career, maybe you are returning to work after a break?
 
You will be responsible for general book-keeping; accounts data entry, customer & supplier accounts related liaison, reconciliation, credit control, general office administration and working closely with the Financial Controller, who will provide training, support and opportunity to progress. You will be well supported by a strong management team, a company ethos that supports change and continuous improvement, and recognises and values your contributions to its success.  
 
The ideal candidate would have the following skills/experience:
 
- Experience/Certification of Sage Accounting required
- Accounts/book-keeping experience
- Competent computer skills using Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel
- To have a high level of written and spoken English
- Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Able to demonstrate concentration, accuracy and attention to detail
- Discreet, able to retain confidential information
- Good communicator both written and verbal
