Our client is a market-leader in speciality lighting technology supplying innovative and exceptional solutions that simulate natural light. They are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their team.

You will have the chance to learn more about your specialism and develop through interaction with the current Marketing Manager.
As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting our client’s Marketing Manager in a range of marketing activities.
Your primary focus will be to deliver a programme of trade shows and exhibitions across Europe. You will work closely with Graphic Designers, Printers and Event Organisers, as well as internally with the Sales, Operations and Product Development Teams.
Supporting the creation and implementation of campaigns, you will contribute ideas and help to create supporting documentation and literature.
Additionally, you will assist with research activities and email marketing campaigns, as well as supporting marketing admin processes, such as database management.
As part of your role, you will be required to undertake some travel in Europe to attend events.
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience of planning trade show and exhibition logistics
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Proactive and results-driven, as a Marketing Assistant, you must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail and excellent judgement. A positive, ‘can do’ attitude, a fresh-thinking approach and fantastic planning abilities are also key
Basic knowledge and experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be beneficial to your application. Experience with any customer relations management (CRM) systems or database systems would be equally favourable.
