The children at Greenfield are valued as individuals and benefit from their interactions with all members of staff. There is never a dull day at Greenfield and applicants will need to be adaptable and undaunted by change.

The Receptionist role comprises of parent and staff communications and administrative tasks involving personal data, both of which require the successful candidate to demonstrate discretion, empathy and understanding, whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. Other tasks include managing the school diary, dispensing medication and making small cash sales at the front desk. The successful candidate will need to enjoy working in a busy reception area, but also be disciplined enough to work with potential distractions. As part of a full-time job-share, the new Receptionist will need to have a close working relationship with the current Receptionist and enjoy working as part of a team.

They will also need a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task, in order to assist the Head of Admissions and Marketing. Tasks may include: sending out prospectuses, replying to emails, inviting families to open days or taster events and drafting letters. An understanding of sales and excellent customer service will be extremely desirable. The Assistant Registrar will play an important part in ensuring that prospective families receive the best possible experience as they enrol their child at Greenfield School and therefore the successful candidate must be personable, reliable and efficient.
