As a leading technology provider, our client uses the latest technologies to manage and maintain their customers IT systems. Operating at the forefront of their industry, they work very closely with a range of schools and colleges. They are now looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer who will be site based at a school in Beulah Hill, Upper Norwood London.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving user support issues as well as the administration of the school’s network and IT systems. You will have one IT Support Technician reporting to you. 

To be considered, you will need: 

- Experience as a customer-facing support analyst and/or engineer, including excellent general troubleshooting skills 
- Hands-on experience of supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Server, AD and Group Policies 
- General network, firewall and anti-virus support expertise 
- Experience of supporting virtualised systems 

Most importantly, it is essential that you are a clear and logical thinker with a quality approach to customer service. As an IT Support Engineer, you should also be a good communicator ensuring that the teaching and support staff at the school are kept up to date with progress on issue resolution. 

Due to the requirements of this role, the successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance of the school, based in Beulah Hill, or be willing to relocate.
