What you need to know about the Account Manager role:
As By-Products Account Manager you will be managing and building long-term relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof...
- The role will focus on developing external solutions, which meet environmental legislation and maximise value creation for all site arising wastes and by-products.
- You will generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and negotiation and be the main point of contact for assigned customers.
- The role will involve developing and maintaining long-term relationships with accounts making sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
- You will manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals.
- In this role you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients and coordinating with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service.

You will service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines and keeping records of client invoices and transactions and provide appropriate support and coordination to relevant Business ,Procurement and Operations teams in order to assist in the delivery of business initiatives and targets.

This Account Manager is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills. You must have a proven ability to analyse, interpret and act upon large amounts of information, with a keen attention to detail.

What we need to know about you:
- We're looking for someone who is confident, has a pro-active attitude with good sales ability.
- Numerical ability, in particular the ability to understand, analyse and interpret financial information is key.
- It is also essential that you have a good level of commercial awareness, ideally developed in a previous sales role.
- Experience within Waste Management or another service industry is desirable but not essential.
- You will have the ability to Network and have strong negotiation skills.
- Ideally you will have a knowledge of 'solution' selling waste and recycling services and have a real drive and determination to succeed
