Student Services Administrator (fixed-term, based in Derby)
£17,764 to £20,989 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
QMC and Sutton Bonington Service Centre
The University has recently transformed the delivery of student administration and support services which are delivered through four teams working in our newly refurbished Service Centres and dedicated spaces across our UK campuses. We are now seeking to expand our team - current vacancies include this role in our Service Centre based at Derby Royal Hospital. In this crucial role, the successful candidate will work as part of a team to assist in the management of assessments, admissions and course administration for all programmes delivered on the Royal Derby Hospital site, and to assist with the provision of a customer-focused and efficient front line service to students and other visitors to the campus.
Candidates should have a good standard of education, with at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent, experience in an administrative role and be able to use Outlook and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Excellent customer service skills, organisational and prioritisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of a team are also a requirement together with an ability to prioritise their own workload.
This is a full time fixed term post until 30 March 2020. Hours of work are 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday inclusive and working patterns may fall between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday.
