Hours, Mon – Thu 7:45 – 4:45, Fri 7:45 – 12:45 (additional hours + nights out)

We have an exciting opportunity for a time served, experienced, joiner to join the team of one of the area's leading timber manufacturers. As part of the team your role as Joiner / Carpenter will be to visit customers homes, all around the UK, promote the company and at all times conduct yourself in a professional manner.

Purpose of Role:

Working in a customer facing role to carry out joinery repairs on timber windows and doors to a high standard on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities for Joiner:

• Provide excellent face to face customer care service
• Undertake all joinery repairs identified via customer care issues on timber windows and doors
• Liaise with the designated Customer Care Remedial Co-ordinator concerning the arrangements for all work being undertaken
• To assess, where necessary, the extent or repairs required on site, reporting any problems or further action required
• To ensure the safe handling and storage of all equipment and materials
• To work safely and in accordance with Company Health and Safety procedures at all times
• To manage, control and be responsible for stock of materials

Personal Joiner / Carpenter Specification:

• Time served qualified Joiner
• Experience of repairs of occupied properties
• Full, clean, driving licence (only speeding points permitted)
• Pro-active and “can do” attitude
• Ability to build up good working relationships with colleagues and clients
• Self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and approachable
• Flexible and good team player
• Be prepared for nights out as required (good allowance)
• CSCS card would be desirable, but not essential

You may be a master joiner, apprentice trained joiner, time served joiner.
