Carriera has been retained by a reputable building surveying firm based in Reigate.

Following their streamline of successes, since the setup of the business in 2012. The private practice has grown from strength to strength and following one of their best years to date, are now looking to appoint a chartered building surveyor.

The firm is an independent specialist building surveying practice that has rapidly developed a reputation for delivering a high-quality service that is reliable with a personal approach and attitude that is often not to be found in larger organisations.

Being involved in the construction process from inception through to completion gives them a technical understanding and level of knowledge of buildings, that often proves invaluable when assessing a property, from how it physically performs through to how it succeeds as an asset in the property and financial markets.

They do work alongside, and sometimes compete with, larger multi-disciplinary firms on high-value projects for a number of their largest clients within the commercial and high-end residential sectors.

With a combined 40+ years of experience across the board, the business provides an array of project and professional services varying from high-value residential developments to managed property, together with penthouse design & construction and basement fit-outs.

Some of the services they provide and that you may encompass on a day to day basis range from Schedules of Dilapidations, Surveys Project Management, Party Wall, Feasibility Studies, Development Project Monitoring, Business Development.

About you

The ideal candidate will be somebody who has aspirations of leading a firm in the not so distant future, with a good understating of the residential and commercial markets.

You will be chartered, professional, personable and prepared to go above and beyond to ensure any given task is completed, in a timely and efficient manner.

This is a perfect position for a surveyor who has the ability and passion to progress their career to a senior level. You will be working directly alongside the MD of the practice and eventually moulded into taking the reigns at the head of the business.

In return, you will be considered as a valued peer opposed to just a number. You will have the ability to help grow the business, bring ideas to the table, develop your own service offering and will be supported by a trusted and motivated MD.
