This is a great opportunity for candidates with excellent organisational skills, venue/supplier negotiation ability, face -to-face and telephone manner when talking with clients.

About the job

  • Organising event venues including site visits and assessing suitability.
  • Overseeing relevant supplier/venue contracts
  • Liaising with conference/exhibition sponsors to ensure that they receive the best possible service and that their requirements are met.
  • Being part of the recruitment process for additional team members and ensuring that any team members are wholly briefed and are able to develop their responsibilities and careers.
  • Client and supplier meetings.
  • Co-ordinating with conference speakers as well as ensuring relevant speaker notes/presentations organised and suitable.
  • Talking with event sponsors to organise/chase suitable company profiles and ensuring that the logistics of their sponsorship package are delivered.
  • Ensuring smooth running of each event with all logistics organised.
  • Conference database administration.
  • Work with other senior staff members to organise new events and develop current programme.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge and skills on:

  • Technical database and maintenance skills.
  • Good man management skills.
  • Ability to work hours outside normal contractual periods.
  • Remain calm/professional when under pressure at the event itself.

This is a Temporary job opportunity for a talent candidate, working from May 21st for approximately 7 weeks.

Salary- £10 to £15ph depending on experience
