Vehicle Paint Prepper Technician VW/AUDI
Hilton Coachworks – Bishops Stortford CM23
Hilton Coachworks is the largest independent Manufacturer Approved Repairer in the UK and we are currently recruiting a Paint Prep Technician to join our team.
As a Manufacturer Approved Repairer, all our staff are trained directly by the manufacturers so all vehicles are repaired using correct methods and processes.
We only use genuine parts and paint to ensure vehicles are restored to pre accident condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and remove imperfections on panels prior to painting; mask/protect any areas adjacent to panel(s) to be prepared
- Smooth unmasked surfaces with sandpaper removing gloss; responsible for the preparation of full vehicles or parts, which includes sanding using various sanding blocks and DA sanders as required, ensure vehicles are prepped ready for refinishing and some small filler work may be required from time to time
- Previous paint/ prep experience required.
