With more than 2,500 properties in North and East Ayrshire the Association plans to build circa 500 plus houses in North, East and South areas over the next 5 years. Committed to “Making our Communities Better Places” we are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals to join our Fuel Poverty Energy Advisors East Ayrshire Team which will focus on reducing home energy fuel poverty amongst domestic energy users throughout the region

We aim to offer an initial fixed term contract until 31st March 2019

FUEL POVERTY ENERGY ADVISOR

(THIS POST WILL BE BASED IN CUNNINGHAME HOUSING ASSOCIATION’S OFFICE IN KILMARNOCK)

SALARY £18,477

To provide a friendly and professional service to all East Ayrshire and Scotland wide customers; providing advice to domestic home energy users to contribute to the delivery of a fuel poverty energy advice service by carrying out home visits and undertaking a range of tasks including gathering of information in relation to energy use and cost, providing a comprehensive service to customers who call through to our the Associations Fuel Poverty Free-phone number who wish help and advice on fuel debt, benefit claims, income maximisation, advice on tariffs and payment options and assistance with Fuel Poverty Grant Application forms and energy efficiency measures. (A Full Driving License is essential for this post).

Successful applicants will undergo a Disclosure Check (expense met by employer).
