Engineering Supervisor
LOCATION: Worksop, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from Nottingham, Lincoln, Sheffield, Mansfield and Chesterfield)
REFERENCE: TSLGJ1336
SALARY & BENEFITS: Negotiable, depending on experience.
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 7.30 am until 4 pm

THE ROLE: Based at our client's modern facilities in Worksop, the successful Engineering Supervisor will supervise the Engineering team to ensure the smooth running of all site equipment. Using the resources of a multi skilled team and outside contractors, the person will ensure that all aspects of engineering work on site are carried out in a safe and timely manner. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the role requires excellent communication skills at all levels.
Key Responsibilities of Engineering Supervisor to include:-
Ability to manage a team
To ensure both scheduled and reactive maintenance is carried out
You will manage the availability of spare parts
To ensure production interruptions are kept to a minimum
Dealing with contractors and related safety
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess good leadership qualities. The successful Engineering Supervisor will have excellent communication skills, will be flexible and proactive in their approach to the working day. Our client is looking for a dynamic individual who can think logically whilst carrying out their daily tasks.
Key skills and experience for the role of Engineering Supervisor based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from Nottingham, Lincoln, Sheffield, Mansfield and Chesterfield):
Must live within a commutable distance of Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Qualification in Engineering to minimum HNC level
Will have experience of managing an Engineering team in a production environment
Ability to lead, motivate and support
Must be computer literate
Understands KPIs and optimising machinery
Confident to manage several jobs and adjust priorities on a constant basis
