Net Developer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong all-round experienced C# .Net developer to join an expanding development team within a fast-growing international communication company. Based in Islington, London, the successful C# .Net Developer will earn a salary of up to £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.

The company’s mission is to enable the world to communicate efficiently and authentically and replace conventional 'presentation skills training' with Speech Intelligence. Their system relies on an efficient and resilient back end to support its operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving, building and testing features. The day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Work alongside the technical, design and business team to transform business requirements into software solutions
• Supervision of front end and mobile application deliverables
• Write code in a clean, structured, modular and maintainable way
• Anticipate problems and devise solutions
• Optimise the performance of the system
• Design for low latency and be sensitive to bandwidth/battery performance issues
• Maintain high levels of software quality, test coverage and up to date documentation

The company is looking to recruit a passionate, engaging and ambitious C# Developer who is comfortable within a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to learn lots, you’ll need to learn fast, and you’ll need to work hard! In addition, you must possess the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrable experience in .Net 4.5 MVC development using C#
• Experience designing, creating and testing RESTful APIs using WebApi 2
• Solid experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Good knowledge of MS SQL server and Linq
• Experience with Git and/or other version control systems
• Experience deploying back end software to cloud services such as AWS, GCP or Azure is desirable
• Experience with .Net core is a plus
• Experience with Data visualisation tools is a plus
• Ability to use analytical data and user testing to inform design decisions
• Ability to multi-task with good time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Excellent scoping and estimation skills
• Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
