An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bar Manager at Ruston Sports and Social Club

We are looking for an individual with a positive and enthusiastic manner with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. They should possess strong management skills with the ability to get the best from their team. Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team.

Main Duties:-

  • Staff training and development
  • Management of staff and rotas ensuring utilisation of staff
  • Ordering and stock control
  • Regular line cleaning to ensure product quality
  • Maintenance of bar equipment
  • Cashing up
  • Weekend working and shifts as necessary
  • Liaise with Office Manager to ensure functions are organised
  • Working with Office Manager and Committee to drive sales
  • Knowledge of COSHH, Manual Handling and Health and Safety
  • Joining the social committee to promote the club

 

 

 

 

You Will Need:-

  • Experience in the Licence Trade
  • A proven managerial background within a similar environment
  • To be a people person
  • A good standard of education  including Maths and English GCSE ‘C’ grade
  • To be computer literate using Microsoft Office, internet and social media, knowledge of Sage an advantage
  • To be able to communicate with all levels
  • To be organised
  • Health and Hygiene certificate an advantage
