Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers. We provide Further Education and Higher Education at our Campuses at Bishop Burton College near Beverley and at Riseholme College near Lincoln which includes a brand new Showground Campus featuring state of the art teaching environments, engineering workshops, sports facilities, world class laboratories and an industry leading animal management unit. At our Bishop Burton campus we have undergone a multi-million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities, a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility.

Working closely with the College's growing apprenticeship and traineeship courses and other curriculum areas you will be a part of our Award winning Service to Business team, teaching English and Maths to a range of apprentices. You will deliver formal scheduled teaching as well as devising and reviewing learning programmes. You will monitor the progress of students through continuous assessments, report on their progress and identify when the individual is ready to take exams and helping to prepare them for this.

Educated to A-level or equivalent in English and Maths you will be experienced in teaching both these subjects to apprentices. You will also be highly motivated and organised with an enthusiasm to teach others, an effective communicator with excellent time-management skills. Above all, you need to be innovative within your teaching and proactive in curriculum development.
