Recreation Assistant
60 hours over a rolling 3 week rota (0.57 FTE)
Week 1: Tuesday and Wednesday 1430-2230 (15 hours)
Week 2: Monday 1430-2230, Wednesday 0630-1430, Saturday 0730-1500 (22 hours)
Week 3: Saturday 0730-1830, Sunday 0730-2030 (23 hours)
30 Minute unpaid break
Additional hours may be available on an ad-hoc basis
Salary: Grade 2 £8,809.71 - £9,337.71 (pro rata of £15,417 - £16,341)
Applications are invited for the post of Recreation Assistant to work as part of a team to assist, monitor and supervise customers in the Marjon Sports Centre, with specific responsibilities in lifeguarding, setting up sporting activities and ensuring customer satisfaction
A valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and DBS Clearance will be required.
A YMCA Level 2 fitness instructor and experience of working in a sports centre/health club would be beneficial but is not essential.
