They are looking for a Property Maintenance Manager who really wants to make a difference; takes pride in getting the best out of people and creating beautiful spaces to an excellent standard. This is a varied and challenging role which covers both proactive and reactive works.
Role and Responsibilities
- Effectively support the Group Construction and Maintenance Director to achieve the planned and reactive maintenance plans
- Effectively organise, task and manage the planned and reactive programme of works for the group.
- Monitor, program and control costs incurred by the team in order to ensure deliverables stay within budget.
- Build and establish strong relationships with stakeholders, occupiers and team members - line manage the maintenance team.
- Establish supportive relationships and effectively communicate with other teams and suppliers
- Diagnosing maintenance issues managing all new build works, maintenance and repairs to property portfolio and overseeing repairs
- Programming of repairs and refurbishment schedules
- Managing small refurbishment works and supervision of quality control
- Monitoring and reporting on programme to construction and management team
- Overall responsibility for compliance and safe working environment on sites, COSHH assessments, welfare issues, good health & safety practice.

- Makes regular suggestions for improvement 'why don't they try this?' having identified the benefits and risks
- Asks other team members if they need help and go the extra mile to support own team and other teams
- Will be robust, strong and effective line manager that is able to motivate and inspire team members
- Effective communicator with a positive outlook
- Works well under pressure
- Organised, self managed and personally accountable

Key Skills
- Computer literate: Word for windows, email outlook, excel, Microsoft Project.
- Excellent knowledge of building techniques and materials
- Minimum 5 years experience in maintaining properties, identifying problems, & good building practice
- Good man management skills
- Clean Driving Licence or motorbike licence.
