Supply Chain Optimisation Manager
Liverpool or Lincoln
£45000 - £50000 per annum
A well-known FMCG company is looking for a driven, dynamic and fast paced Supply Chain Optimisation Manager for their UK office, either based in Liverpool or Lincoln. This role is due to the need to implement an S&OP process, to ensure Supply Chain processes maximise efficiency. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Optimisation Manager / S&OP Planner / S&OP Manager who has the ability to work alongside like-minded individuals and a high performing team.
Responsibilities:
* Create and implement an S&OP process to align the business vision to the supply chain strategy
* Provide a comprehensive overview of the business in order to continuously match high-level strategy with day-to-day operational tactics in all departments (Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, etc)
* Balance supply & demand from the improvement of the new S&OP process
* Manage the end-to-end supply chain to provide excellent customer service, whilst optimising resources, reducing shrinkage and waste
* Achieve high stock fill rates / low stock-out rates
* Ensure a timely execution of inventory flows from the factory to distribution
Requirements:
* Graduate calibre
* Strong understanding of FMCG supply chain, with at least 5+ years experience within a Supply Chain Optimisation Manager/ S&OP Planner / S&OP Manager role
* Confident across Demand / Inventory planning
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the S&OP process; outputs and benefits
* Experience of establishing S&OP processes
* Confident working with advanced supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, cash flow, and working capital)
* Expertise in Excel, Access & PowerPoint
