Site Worker - Multi Skilled Labourer - Construction Work

Multi Skilled Operative/Labourer, CSCS, Building Work, Construction, Machine Operator, Digger- Cranbrook - 12 Month Contract - Excellent Rate of Pay

My client, a large Energy and Utilities client and looking for 2 Multi Skilled Operatives to join them in Cranbrook working on new build and commercial construction. The role will be a 12 month contract working 10 hours per day on a competitive hourly rate.

Project Background:

• The role will involve working on a range of new build homes and commercial properties to provide heating and hot water.
• This process includes fitting pipework in trenches, welding and connection to the energy centre to be then distributed out to the properties.

Position Background:

• This is a site based role and will involve working across multiple areas of the project including Digging, Pipe Fitting and working alongside welders.
• Some Machine operation and driving will be required, and filling trenches dug for the pipe work.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Candidates should have prior experience working on a construction site, ideally on homes and commercial properties.
• Any experience of working on a civil engineering project would also be of interest.
• Candidates should also have experience of operating machinery and hold machine operator tickets.
• Any exposure to pipe work and welding would be beneficial.
• Candidates should also hold a CSCS/CPCS card.
