  • Delegate and manage the CAD and technician resource in the delivery of outputs to agreed deadlines

  • Liaise with the design teams and client representatives on active projects, to manage and procure deliverables on time

  • To deliver projects within budget constraints

  • Assist with the preparation of technical appraisals, feasibility / conceptual and detailed designs and associated cost estimates

  • Attend sites to carry out and/or assist with surveys, liaise with clients/contractors and monitor works as required

  • Assist and/or supervise other team members working within the section

  • Keep up to date with current developments within the area of operation and continue to gain a wider knowledge of PBA's overall business and operations

  • Ensure that due attention is paid to all aspects of the Practice Management System (PMS) in accordance with the Practice's procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience and will be working towards Chartership.

The candidate will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification

  • Have experience in drainage and attenuation design and specification

  • Experience of the delegation and management of technician and CAD resources

  • Have excellent communication and written skills with the ability to both compile and check reports
