Job Description LOCATION: Fritham, near Southampton
JOB TITLE: Activities Organiser
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP8.20 weekdays & GBP8.78 weekends + uniform
WORKING HOURS: 4 x days working 7 hours per day including alternative full weekends or 1 x weekend day every week
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a privately owned group of nursing homes and close care living based in and around New Forest. Due to internal promotion the home based in Fritham, near Southampton is currently looking for a Part time Activities Organiser. The home sits in 8 acres of landscaped gardens and is registered for 48 residents.
THE ROLE: As the Activities Organiser you will be dealing with elderly clients with general nursing needs, frail or with physical disabilities and clients with learning disabilities. You will organising in-house entertainments and activities as well as escorting residents on outings.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a positive, energetic individual who is enthusiastic about keeping the elderly residents active. Ideally you will have experience working within the care industry or working in a similar activities organiser position, however full training will be given to the right individual.
Key experience essential for the role of the Activities Organiser:-
Willing to complete a Full DBS clearance
Willing to give 2 x references
Happy to work weekends
Must have your own transport to commute as there is no Public transport to Fritham
Live within a commutable distance within Fritham, near Southampton
