Located in Staffordshire, this company has developed a number of new valve products based on the same design platform: Axial Isolation Valve and Axial Control Valve. With innovative patented features, this company is now embarking on bringing these unique valve products to market, seeking to achieve the same excellent reputation and worldwide prominence as their check valves.
With further new products to come, this company would like to invite experienced and knowledgeable CONTROL VALVE/MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER S to join their Flow Control Division and be a part of the future success that these new valves will inevitably have.
The role will be varied encompassing all aspects of the design process, from initial concept through to finished product. In return you can expect a role that presents challenge, yet is stimulating, in a forward thinking environment that allows you to thrive and develop your career.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- 3 years plus experience in 3D CAD modelling and drafting, ideally Solidworks;
- At least 3 years experience in control valve design;
- A degree (2:2 or above) in Mechanical or Fluid Dynamics engineering;
- Effective communicator and team player with a can-do, solutions orientated approach;
- Detail conscious with high personal standards;
- Self-motivated and driven individual who strives for success;
- Flexible, hardworking and willing to take on new challenges.
Nice to have:
- Experience in the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Software;
- Experience in the use of Finite Element Analysis Software (e.g. ANSYS);
- Experience in the hydrocarbon / energy Valve Industry.
