Electrician - Location: SP10 3TJ 
Hours of working are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Salary c£30-35k depending on qualifications and experience.

The company is a fast growing business providing a telecoms asset management service to clients in the UK, Europe and America. The company specialise in the acquisition and resale of telecommunications equipment.

We are looking for a focussed individual with experience in the telecoms industry familiar with equipment isolation and de-installation, mechanical telecoms de-installation and a competent maintenance engineer.

THREE main functions of job

1. Onsite Electrical Equipment isolation and de-installation - UK & Europe
2. Onsite assist with mechanical telecoms de-installation - UK & Europe
3. Maintenance Electrician for our Premises 

Experience required

• Experience working a telecoms / IT technical environment would be beneficial.
• Experience working on industrial DC power systems.
• Manual handling
• Experience of working within a team. 
• Exposure to business processes and procedures.
• Specialist training required
• Manual Handling
• Powermate Stair lifter training
• Barcode Scanning
• ESD Handling
• Quality system training

Desirable requirements

• FGAS Qualified
• IPAF Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
• PASMA Tower certificate of competence

Health & Safety Training

• Working conditions/degree of effort required
• Mostly offsite based role which will likely require working away from home as part of a team. 
• Working at customer premises as required, requiring travel by train or appropriate vehicle both in the UK & Europe. 
• Completion of electrical de-installations at client sites. 
• Lifting and carrying of stock both on site and in the warehouse, using lifting aids where possible.

Any particular aptitude/skill required

• Independent worker but good team player. Ability to work under own initiative, whilst meeting the standards of the company’s documented quality and environmental systems (ISO9001 / ISO1400) 
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
• PC skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Physical strength and ability to safely handle equipment; some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment.
