Your new company

LMA is a large, awarding winning, RIBA chartered practice located in the heart of Chester city centre only a stones through away from the major transport links. LMA have been in Chester since 1862 and currently have a growing team of almost 30 people, they work across all sectors but have been renowned for their success within the education sector and high end residential particularly; working on projects up to GBP40 million in value. They have recently seen an influx in new and exciting projects both within the UK and internationally. Using the latest Revit software across all projects they are ensuring that they are technologically up to the challenge of delivering projects efficiently, on time and within budget. LMA are one of the leaders in delivering BIM Level 2 across the Northwest.

Your new role

This is a really exciting opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join the practice. You will have an excellent opportunity to progress and to take your career to the next level. You will be provided with training and support and the practice will support you on your journey to your Part III qualification. Working under a Senior Architect you will take projects from inception to completion and get the opportunity to see your designs taken from on site. You will be working across a variety of sectors and will rapidly strengthen your skill set.

What you will need to succeed

As a successful Part II architectural assistant you will need to have the drive and motivation to learn rapidly and quickly develop your career. You need to be a self-starter. Ideally you will have some experience in working in private practice, potentially in the education and residential sectors but this is not essential. LMA are looking for talented, conscientious and career focussed people. Revit experience would be a great advantage as all projects are now delivered in Revit at the practice, but training will be provided for the right person.
