Engineering Manager & Senior Applications Engineer

AV INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS LTD are a leading supplier of Anti-Vibration Mountings & Rubber to Metal Bonded Engineering Components based in Leicester.

Due to continued growth we are seeking an Engineering Manager and a Senior Application Engineer to join our successful team.

Engineering Manager

The role will be ‘hands on’ addition to our executive team managing a busy technical department and working with our OEM clients (Industrial Equipment Manufacturers) to offer sound Technical Solutions for new applications.

The ideal candidate will currently occupy a senior role within a similar company although not essential.  More important is a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn.

Senior Application Engineer

 The role will entail working with OEM clients offering technical solutions, conducting Vibration Calculations, and recommending Material/Product Selections. This will be achieved by discussing engineering projects with customers over the telephone and email together with developing new products.   Other duties will include product testing to ensure products meet their specification.  Some customer visits in support of our Technical Sales team will be necessary.

Experience within the Anti Vibration or Rubber Industry would be beneficial but not essential.

Both positions should have a minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering and a competitive remuneration package is available to the successful candidates.
