My client is seeking a Project Engineer to help expand their business and support their

products. In this role the Project Engineer will manage both detailed technical and schedule

aspects of several projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.

The client is an equipment manufacturer and integrator based in Oxford, UK. They are

specialists in developing manufacturing processes and methods based on microscale

structuring of materials via focussed laser and inkjet. The equipment they sell is to high

volume, high end applications in the microelectronics and photo-voltaic sectors as well as

research and development sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical leadership and schedule management of assigned M-Solv projects

throughout the full project lifecycle.

Development of project objectives and deliverables by reviewing project proposals

and plans.

Formulate project technical visions, strategies, and specifications based on customer

requirements. Partake in technical studies and prepare cost estimates.

Identify and prioritise project risks providing solutions and mitigating actions.

Create and manage project schedules ensuring planned activities are sequenced,

coordinated and monitored. Resolve problems and take corrective actions to avoid

schedule delays

Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and work packages,

assigning competent personnel and subcontractors as required.

Create and maintain formal project documentation throughout the lifecycle of the

project.

Qualifications:

Essential: HND or degree qualified in electromechanical engineering or similar

relevant engineering subject.

Preferred: Project management (e. Prince2)

Skills and Experience:

Proven working experience as project engineer in the field equipment manufacturing

and factory automation*.

Advanced skills in MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work with multiple discipline projects, with good understanding and

appreciation for mechanical, electrical, software and process control.

Familiar with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards relevant

to our industry.
