Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) is one of Europe’s leading specialist institutions in science and technology – with 1,300 staff providing education, training, research and development, advice and consultancy services to the land-based industries.

The Recruitment Co-ordinator supports the Recruitment Manager in providing an efficient, cost-effective and professional recruitment service to SRUC that is legally compliant and delivers excellent customer service and positive candidate experience.

Duties will include:

  • Consulting with and advising managers on effective sourcing and assessment strategies:
    • Most effective sourcing channel options
    • Ad copy writing
    • Job particulars creation
    • Selection and assessment tools advice
    • Legally compliant practise advice
    • UKVI right to work process compliance (including sponsorship process)
    • Input to assessment and selection decisions where appropriate
  • Managing multiple stakeholders including:
    • Hiring managers
    • Candidates
    • Publishers
    • Online job-boards
    • Testing providers
    • Wider HR team
    • On-boarding stakeholders
  • Using recruitment technology to manage end to end process, applicants and stakeholders.
  • Producing regular accurate MI.
  • Providing support to the wider HR Business Support Hub on the end to end recruitment process.

This role would suit an experienced recruitment / vacancy co-ordinator looking to broaden  experience in an organisation with highly specialised disciplines and with strategic influence in agricultural scientific research and consultancy.
