The Company: 

Our client is a well-established distributor of electrical and environmental test equipment. They are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team.

Your Role: 

As a Warehouse Operative, you will join a small existing team undertaking picking, packing and testing activities. 

Specifically, you will select items to make up orders, prepare them for collection by the carrier and enter the order into the carrier’s system. 

In addition, you will spend time in our production area, doing simple go / no go testing and packing small electrical items. No electrical knowledge is required.

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Warehouse Operative, you will need: 

- Experience of working in a warehouse environment handling smaller items rather than entire pallets 
- Dexterity 
- A careful, considerate approach 
- A close attention to detail 
- The ability to work well in a team environment 

A forklift truck licence would be beneficial to your application.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm.
