We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Global Banking and Markets team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

• Definition, ownership and delivery of the Adoptions roadmap
• Lead and manage the project teams to ensure delivery on time and budget
• Establish and chair appropriate governance forums
• Collaborate with partners in technology & business to ensure that projects, typically including, product adoption are managed effectively
• Implement appropriate project control of scope, risks, issues, dependencies, time, budget and quality. Always stay one step ahead to ensure emerging risks can be effectively mitigated.
• Ensure that status is reported in a timely fashion to all Technology & Business governance forums & effective communication is managed across wider stakeholder group
• Participate in relevant Steering Committee's and Working Groups to inform key stakeholders within the business lines of progress on business driven initiatives
• Working with offshore centres of excellence to support project delivery
• Define and agree an implementation approach with key stakeholders to manage delivery risk and provide opportunity for early benefit realisation

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Solid understanding of the Financial Services business, ideally with experience of Global Markets and Securities Services
• Broad understanding of different markets, asset classes and instruments typically used within investment banking & fund administration.
• Thorough understanding of market and reference data, in terms of both its acquisition, management and distribution as well as its use, criticality and typical issues which it causes across difference environments, markets, asset classes and instrument types within each.
• Understanding of valuation & typical pricing requirements for Investment Banking products including Equity, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Collective Investment Schemes, Fixed Income and FX
• Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to dive and champion change within an environment of comparable size and complexity.
• Formal certification from a recognised professional body (eg Prince or PMI) preferable.
• Experience of Agile delivery techniques, having delivered using Agile methodology in previous roles.
• Experience of 3rd party product delivery and software vendor management.
