Business Development Assistant
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a local company as a business development assistant, helping potential clients with all manner of enforcement queries. Working in a team of 8 full time in our Croydon office where full training will be given in your induction period and on a continual basis.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to progress from junior sales through to Business development manager or Key Account manager. The role will be business to business sales to bank and solicitors contacting clients from the database and selling the services of recovering debts for them are looking for someone who is confident, articlate, good telephone manner. The role is 9-5 Monday to Friday, and they have onsite parking and a realistic OTE of £24k + with great promotion prospects too!
The ideal candidate will have experience in consultative sales, be commercially aware and driven to secure every possible opportunity presented to the Company role will be 50/50 reactive/proactive dealing with inbound calls and making outbound calls. The role includes but is not limited to the following duties:
*Dealing with inbound enquires, identifying sales opportunities and selling across the range of products
*Maintain and manage a database of clients making sure all potential business is followed up
*Understanding the prospective clients need and providing appropriate guidance. *Providing leads to the other various sales divisions
*Working within established guidelines and reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly to Head of Business Development
*Adding all prospective clients to the Sales Management database along with appropriate notes
*Carry out desk based research to identify potential clients and allocate to the relevant sales channel or contact them directly
*Develop and maintain industry knowledge
*Provide sales support on behalf of Head of Business Development as required
*Adopt a positive and co-operative style of working, as both a team player and using own initiative where required
