Background:

DB Hydraulics has been providing a first rate on-site hydraulic hose repair service for over 20 years. Successful applicants will join a small team of committed, hard working individuals that provide excellent service to customers across Scotland 24/7.

Job Elements/Role:

• Must come from a Mechanical/Plant background. Applicants who do not have sufficient, relevant experience or meet the high standards set by the company in interpersonal skills and work ethic will not be considered for the position.
• A punctual, responsible and highly motivated attitude towards work is expected of all of our team.
• Our engineers will attend a variety of different sites (from quarries to packaging factories), diagnose and repair hydraulic issues on a diverse range of machinery and systems, and deal with customers on a regular basis.
• Good written and spoken English is required along with a polite attitude towards all customers.
• Full clean drivers license.
• Suitable references will be required.
• 6 month probationary period.
• We operate an after hours weekday and weekend call out rota system, successful applicants will be required to work every second week on call for these times.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually is vital.Applicants must also comply with our safety ethos, ensuring that themselves and those around them are always safe from any potential hazards.
