As an innovative provider of bodyshop solutions, our client is the nation’s leading distributor to the refinish industry. They are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Leeds. 

Within a fast-paced and engaging environment, you will have the chance to significantly increase your skill-set and gain valuable industry experience. 

As a Warehouse Operative, your role will involve checking and putting away products and collating and assembling customers’ orders accurately and efficiently. 

Your role is the first step in delivering the best customer experience as customers expect their orders to be correctly picked and dispatched. Ensuring that our client’s mission to be customers’ first choice can be successful, you will be vital in facilitating the company’s strategy through your activity within the warehouse. 

Your duties will include: 

- Checking off and putting away all new goods received 
- Picking orders 
- Reporting stock shortages to the Supervisor 
- Completing your work to meet with delivery times 
- Keeping the warehouse, trade counter and display areas clean and tidy 
- Mixing paints when required 
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English. Strong communication skills are also key. 

As a Warehouse Operative, you will have a proactive nature, positive approach to issues, self-motivation and team player mentality. 

Please note, this role will involve bending and lifting weights of up to 25kg. 

Although training will be provided, it would be beneficial to have a qualification or experience in the following: warehousing, including picking and packing, logistics or transportation or health and safety.
